Jennifer Hudson is an American singer, actress, and television host who rose to fame as a finalist on the third season of “American Idol” in 2004. She won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the film “Dreamgirls” and has received numerous other awards, including a Golden Globe, a BAFTA, and a Grammy.
